What Fitness Means To Me - Sharat Nath

Fitness today has created an entire revolution in the way people think and feel about being physically and mentally healthy  I for one am all for this. Allow me to explain what I mean. According to Google, fitness is defined as "the condition of being physically fit and healthy" To me fitness means not only this, but so much more. We tend to think about the physical aspect as the only one that falls under fitness, but I’ve learned about how it extends beyond this over the past few years. Fitness has been a friend to me, a coping mechanism and a form of discipline and mediation. Fitness has taught me a lot about life. I follow a regular regime with a balanced diet and regular exercise and I’ve found the right balance for myself – everyone has their own and you only find it once you start.  We often complain about fitness not being a sustainable element in one’s lifestyle, but once you lock in a routine and find your balance , things get easier.
